Batian’s View operates under the guidelines of the Directorate of Industrial Training (DIT), a body governed under the Ministry of Labour that overseas the training of employees working in the industrial sector. The training is supported by the training levy paid by the employers into the Industrial Training Levy Fund.

Employers who undertake staff training through DIT registered trainers like Batian’s View can have their training cost reimbursed from the Industrial Training Levy Fund. DIT encourages team building in companies and Batian’s View is the place for the ultimate outdoor experience.

The purpose of World Care’s Kenya Project at Batian’s View is to allow talented, low-income students to receive the educational enrichment needed to contribute to Kenya’s development. World Care provides the vehicle for donors to sponsor and invest in Kenya’s youth and their future.

Batian’s View would like to expand and provide many more Kenyan students with few resources the opportunity to participate in Batian’s View leadership and team building programs. Youth in Kenya need opportunities to develop leader- ship skills that are not provided in the traditional school systems, and this is particularly critical for a growing population of at-risk youth who often live in urban areas.

Your donation would go towards the sponsoring of a child to participate in Batian’s View Experiential Education Center’s program and would make a life-long impact in the life of that child.
